You should make sure you understand the license implication of whatever charge you face:
1st offense OUI: 180 days if you refuse the breath test, plus an addition 45 days, minimum, if you accept a CWOF or are found guilty after trial.
1st offense and you took a breath test, you only have a 30 day suspension after which you can get your full license back while your lawyer is fighting the case. There would be an additional 45 day license loss if you were found guilty or accepted a CWOF on the charge. Generally, the best option is to get your full license back and explore all methods to avoid an OUI conviction. When you take a breath test there is an option to get your license back slightly quicker but it requires you to admit to the charge without a full evaluation of all the evidence against you.
The Leominster District Court is part of Worcester Country and typically the presiding judge handles the cases in this Court. However, other judges throughout the region will sometimes rotate to this Court. The Leominster District Court does not have its own jury session, so any jury trial will be sent to the Fitchburg District Court.
Leominster is located north of Worcester and west of Boston. It is the second largest city in Worcester County.
Attorney DelSignore has a Westborough office located roughly a short distance away from the Leominster District Court:
