The case of <a href=\"http:\/\/masslegalresources.com\" target=\"_blank\">Commonwealth v. Canty<\/a>, decided on November 6, 2013, involved whether a police officer&#8217;s testimony violated the rule of evidence that a witness cannot render an opinion on the ultimate issue that the jury must decide.
