Russo addresses whether the Louisiana law requiring abortion providers to have privileges in a hospital within 30 miles of their clinic is constitutional. The Louisiana law at issue in this case is virtually identical to the Texas law that was struck down by the Court in <a href=\"https:\/\/caselaw.findlaw.com\/us-supreme-court\/15-274.html\">Whole Women\u2019s Health v. Hellerstedt <\/a>in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>What could happen is anyone\u2019s guess.\u00a0 The Court could<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>follow the June Medical Services argument to follow <em>stare decisis<\/em>and rule, as it did with Whole Women\u2019s Health, the law unconstitutional.
